Worship

We meet together each week to worship God, through the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

We have three different styles of Church service on Sundays and another type during the week.

9.30am on the 1st & 3rd Sundays each month -

A short contemporary style of service for everyone from 0 to 90.

10.30am on the 2nd,4th & 5th Sundays each month -

A service with something for everyone, lasting for about an hour, with a mixture of modern and traditional styles, and music led by the choir.

10.45 am on the 1st & 3rd Sundays each month -

A more traditional service aimed at adults, and music led by the choir.

6.00pm every Sunday-

A traditional style service with a focus on Bible teaching.

On the 1st Sunday of the month, the service takes the form of a ‘PARADE SERVICE’when the uniformed organisations, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts join us.

Holy Communion is held on a regular basis—The Methodist Church has an ‘Open Table’ where all who love The Lord Jesus are welcome,but you can also ‘sit out’ if you prefer.

Circuit services are held on a regular basis in the evenings at various churches in the area.

Junior Church

At all our morning services we cater for the needs of children and young people, either with activities in another area of the building, involvement in the worship or quiet pastimes within the service. A crèche is also available.

Messy Church

3.30pm on the 2nd Wednesday each month- Messy Church for children 0-11 and their parents, guardians or carers, with crafts, singing, stories and a hot meal.
