The 23rd. Wakefield (Sandal Methodist) Scout group is an active Scouting community with Scouts, Cubs and Beaver groups meeting on a weekly basis and enjoying a whole list of activities all year round.
They meet in the Scout Headquarters at the rear of the Church.

The 37th Wakefield Girl Guiding units are thriving Rainbows, Brownies and Guides meeting during the week to undertake a variety of activities including crafts, games, outdoor adventure, section badges as well as camp and pack holiday.
We are always looking to welcome new leaders and helpers to run and assist the Units in maintaining and expanding the current success that they offer. No experience is necessary for leaders/helpers as full training will be given but just a willingness to have fun, be hands on with the girls and share your knowledge and skills.
They meet in the Church Hall.
