We have premises to be proud of and they can be used by a variety of groups

for regular or ‘one off’ events. We want our premises to be used by and for the community.

DETAILS OF ROOMS AND EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE FOR HIRE

THE CHURCH, with seating for up to 200 people, is carpeted throughout and has been modernised by replacing the pews with individual, upholstered chairs. It is equipped with a ‘Hearing Loop’.

All the following specialist facilities are available by prior agreement:

+ Broadband internet (Virgin) access;

+ Computer input and power supplies with television links;

+ Sound/Video inputs to Video/DVD recorder CD play-back;
+ Sound recording facilities, including tape & mini-disc recorder /playback, & mixing desk;
+ Computer projector, with sound & screen (for use in all rooms);
+ Electric piano & a two-manual electric Organ;

+ Fixed and mobile amplifiers & mixer desks;
+ Lapel microphones, wired stand-microphones, Hand-held radio Microphones;
+ Video cameras/TV (Free-view sourced) & several sound/video inputs;
+ DVD play-back/recording;

+ 6 large, wall-mounted TV screens;

+ Copy-machine facilities.

MAIN HALL- with seating for 100 people, has a wooden floor and is equipped with sound-facilities and basic theatre-type lighting and an electric piano. An ‘ordinary’ piano is also available. Staging is available.

EXTENSION ROOM, with seating for 40+ people, has a wooden floor and an ordinary piano. There is a serving hatch into the kitchen with a pull down screen when not in use.

RECEPTION ROOM (known as the Green Room), with seating for 20+ people, is carpeted throughout.

SMALL RECEPTION ROOM, with seating for 10+, is carpeted throughout.

KITCHEN, equipped with: Two full sized domestic ovens, Good supplies of crockery & cutlery, Tea-pots (large & small), Full sized fridge and a small freezer, Microwave, Continuous Hot Water Boiler.

TABLES: 10 large & 10 small which can be placed in any part of the building.

INVALID ACCESS: There is direct invalid access to both the Church and the School Hall and a separate modern invalid toilet.

RECREATION: Full sized Table Tennis tables and equipment are available for use in the School Hall or Extension Room.

CAR PARKING ETC.: The Church has its own parking facilities for about 30 vehicles which is increased at weekends & in the evenings, to over 80 vehicles, by agreed use of the adjacent car park. There is also additional parking on the A61. The Church is situated within 100 yards of Brook House Club, The Foresters Public House and an Indian Restaurant and has easy access to regular & frequent public transport, rail stations and the A1, M1 and M62.

TOILETS: The building has modern toilet facilities.

All rooms can be furnished to individual requirements, and are available for a variety of functions, including weddings, wedding receptions; funerals, funeral teas; celebrations, parties, group & business activities, and may be hired in any combination, subject to availability.
